Illustrations

Last June while We were cleaning out some old boxes at work, we came upon a large tray full of old wildlife reference books. Among these books was this lovely book 'British Reptiles and Amphibia' A king penguin book. Published in 1949 when photography really wasn't what it is today it is beautifully illustrated by Paxton Chadwick
So, today's Blip is of one of the stunning illustrations of a male and female smooth newt. I think they are beautiful , I hope you enjoy them too
