Hot Stuff

Head deep in the luscious pink aster flower in the border of the garden, this little carder bee was flitting from bloom to bloom sucking up the nectar with it's long tongue. Happy? I should say so and if I was a bee this is where I would have been this afternoon.

He almost looks as though he's standing in a bowl of flames!
