Dragged my coughing, spluttering self out of bed about midday. J and I cycled over to see a piece of land that is for sale. We've been half-heartedly thinking about buying a place for a while. This block of land is about 6km out of the city, and it's like a little oasis - huge piece of land right near a creek. All feels very rural. It'd be a beautiful spot to build a house on and settle down... unfortunately, that would all cost a packet. Probably too much for us at this stage unless J's bargaining skills are even better than I think...

We stopped at Studley Park Boathouse for lunch on the way back and had a giggle at a family who were unwittingly doing donuts in their rowboat on the river.

Off to the video shop now in preparation for a cosy night in. Mmmmm.
