Pour Cold Water on It?

Argh. I (Chris) think I have pulled or even part torn a calf muscle. This is not good given the upcoming half-marathon this Sunday. No club run tonight, I just need to take it easy, perhaps an ice pack and keep my fingers crossed it will feel OK by the weekend.

Annie is in Yorkshire for work, Leeds today and Halifax tomorrow. As a result she's popped over to see friends in York this evening. She may add some more words later.

Annie (later): Had a great evening catching up, with lovely food and lots of laughs. So much nicer to have a friend about when you're away from home. It's been a long week already, and I'm yet to do Halifax and Bristol. Main excitement for tomorrow - it's the Gromit auction! Fingers crossed...
