A total fluke!
After a morning workout at the gym, I took Mum into Brighton for lunch followed by a bit of shopping. We went to a French Brasserie that Alan and I have been to before where there's a special lunchtime menu which is two courses for £9.95. We both had the same, carrot, butternut squash and ginger soup, followed by steak and chips - at least I'd been to the gym!
I took a few photos in the restaurant, and put my camera on the table next to me but it was still turned on, and when I looked I saw this image in the display screen and thought it made an interesting shot. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, particularly as it was a total fluke.
Mum bought me a new coat as a very early birthday present. I saw it last week and really liked it, and she said it's early but she'd prefer to get me something I want. It's red which will be nice and bright for the winter months, and I bought a matching wool bobble hat :-)
I also had my flu vaccine while we were out - it's that time of year again! And then before we came home we went to Julien Plumart which is a French boutique that sells cakes and Macarons. There's a tea room upstairs so we went and had a drink and a Macaron, and then bought a box to bring home. We'll be good though and save them until the weekend when Alan's home, although we did buy a little bag so that we can have some tonight.
