From the dark corner.....

Oooooer! I wish I could do that!

I slept so well last night that I felt almost human this morning. I'm sure you will agree that's a pretty good way to start the day. It was a full day of Oracle Sys Admin with a few reminders about setting up schools' employees which had me getting in a mess with profiles but it was a good day and I learned a lot. It's amazing how rusty you get when you don't do something very often.

Anyway, guess what?! Tesco Man called today shortly after ten and I finally got a cheeky picture! He is behind that bush! Try to contain your excitement. I will get more confident as the weeks go on and may work up to a full frontal one day!

Oh! One thing I did discover when controlling my Xen box this morning was that the noises come through full blast unlike when I used to remote control my PC which was silent. I was opening up Toad (an Oracle editor) while I was on the phone this morning and imagine my horror when a gigantic croak sounded! The trouble is, it sounded more like a dose of bad wind through my laptop speaker. I expect the person on the other end of the line was thinking 'How uncouth they are in I.T. these days!' Ah these embarrassing moments!

Well, I was going to use Tesco Man hidden by my bush as the Blipfoto effort for today but I could not resist my usual pigeon doing an impression of a Toilet Duck this afternoon trying to eat the last of the suet cake. How useful would that be to perform a trick like that? It would make searching for things so much easier, I reckon. So many other everyday tasks would take on a new and fun aspect! I did feel tempted to put my dinner tray on the floor this evening and dangle upside down from the settee to see if food tasted better like that but didn't want to risk getting a Richmond Irish sausage (the thin variety) stuck up my nose. It's an interesting idea though - the ability to swing your head upside down from your shoulders occasionally, don't you think? No? Oh well, please yourself!

Track? Now here is a cracker I hadn't heard for a while! - For Your Love
