The cow is lost, the sun is gone
This Bull was pretty lonely as it stood beside the gate in the clouds. The rest of the cows and calves were further up the field. He looked quite handsome especially against the backdrop of Lower Breakish.
I went for a walk with my Dad, z1 ,this morning unfortunately we could nt really get down on the beach as neither of us are that stable on our feet and the ground is quite uneven. So we walked up past the Fire Station and past the Skyline Pottery and up the hill abit. There were views across to Broadford over the crofts and there was an unusual pink flower covering the ground, maybe a garden escapee.
After lunch Mike and myself popped down to Ashaig and went for a walk admiring the coral beach that shone in the sunlight that managed to creep through the darkening clouds.
We saw a lady and a gentleman who had collected some coral from the beach. The Lady makes pictures with it.
We had a whole flock of brent geese in front of us this morning. I counted 99 but when looking at the bird sightings on Skye for today there was a count of 120. I did see the 5 whooper swans that were also spotted and think I saw the bird counter himself :)
