Go!

Tiny Tussock reporting

The Bossess had a 8 hour tele meeting today but we all went out for a walk first and also picked up some microwave grub for tea.
The Boss thinks that Canadian "Mac and cheese" is vastly superior to the closest NZ product but also suspects that the instant meal market may be a lot bigger here and the range of stuff that the "B's" liked was a lot larger too altho they have mostly dined out anyway.

It was a lovely almost balmy day and we walked to see the "Peace Bridge", a beautiful piece of engineering architecture that apparently caused lots of debate when it was proposed but is now loved. A pic is on the portfolio here.

The area between the city and the river is mostly parklands and looked beautiful in Fall colours with runners and bikers and walkers all enjoying the morning and when The Boss spotted some folk with dogs he just needed a fix so we went and chatted. Click here. The Dog scene in Canada and the U.S is just more organised and generally dogs go most places ON LEADS. There is just no argument about this and their owners pick up too. We have never seen otherwise in North America or Canada and I personally applaud this approach. Maybe someday we will get past the "sheep dog" syndrome and dogs will have a wider public acceptance in NZ.

Beyond the colour, the art and the culture there is of course the commerce which inspired todays Blip. Go! Does come readily to mind.
