Hooked!
Tiny Tussock reporting
Travel from Calgary to Toronto and I spent some more time under the seat in front as they say in airline circles.
Air travel in North America and Canada is pretty straight forward and we had booked seat assignments on the web and The Bossess has a gold thingie air travel status so we got to board first and get first go at the overhead lockers which is where all the baggage goes almost regardless of weight as long as it fits. You would be amazed at what folk put in overhead lockers. The Folk at Air New Zealand would have a fit with their 7Kg carry on limit.
There are several well known conditions that should be avoided (if possible) when travelling and the one we got hooked on today was the excessively chatty lady condition. After 30 minutes straight The Boss decided he needed to watch a movie, any movie, Superman II or some such, with his noise cancelling headphones screwed firmly into his right ear. I wondered why he hadn't put the other ear in but he whispered that the audio was total rubbish, the movie was total rubbish, and the chatty lady was on his right side. The Bossess had drawn the straw for the window seat and read her book on her iPad with the occasional glance at the appalling action on the TV screen. The Boss thinks that they don't make super hero's even remotely exciting anymore. I just studied all the ankles down the aisle and said nothing.
Anyway this bloke doing the hooking was at Calgary Airport and was happy to provide the Blip for today.
We are now installed at a very nice "Residence" accommodation and looking forward to the next week, and last week, of our holiday.
Handheld iPhones in bad light don't need bigger…OK?
