If all else fails!

If all else fails when you are eating chocolate gateau you can always resort to getting the last chocolate off the plate with your FINGERS!

That was the decision of one (or was it both?) of the grandchildren at lunchtime today. And it strikes me as a pretty good idea - after all why waste good chocolate that will just not transfer to the spoon?

Great time today, going with the grandchildren to their church (mum and dad are due back late tonight), and then having time with youngest son, daughter in law and 3rd grandchild as well. Then a mad half hour in the local playground to let off steam (them not Mrs TPV and I!)

It will seem strange going back to a quiet house tomorrow!
