Autumn

Gone are the spuds, carrots, parsnips, broad beans, rhubarb and spring onions. All that are left - some leeks and a fine crop of onions waiting to be stringed. Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness is upon us, and the ground can rest until next spring's planting.
