Sunburst

I can't resist a sunburst.

This one is for Mimi, who couldn't resist a memorial or a statue - she did a whole series of them.

Funny how someone I never actually met could have such an impact - we said we would meet up, she lived in South Yorkshire so pretty close, but we didn't manage it and then she became too ill. She was a doctor, and I wonder if that made it easier or harder for her, maybe ignorance is bliss, I don't know.
