Frosty Dandelion

After the dumping of snow on the ranges over the past few nights, we awoke to a frost this morning. The sun came out for a short while, but then it clouded up, and it is now raining. We are going to be in for a wet night.

Before breakfast, I went out and checked the small calving mob in their paddock to make sure they hadn't had any problems overnight. I noticed lots of dandelions, looking a bit sad after being affected by the frost. This one was a bit more protected from the grass surrounding it.

And yes, there was a calf born overnight - 11 left to calve. Not many to go now....
