Gin!

Day started badly when the woman in my reserved seat on the train categorically refused to move. Everyone else has been really gracious. Luckily there was another seat left. Not sure that I can cope with too much confrontation in the mornings.

Cold and rainy in London so I stayed inside at lunchtime. The rest of the family had gone to Wembley to see the England match and so the house was empty when I got home. They had left me this note though - I enjoyed one can of G&T while watching all the TV they don't like.

Men got back around 11.30 and were pleased with how the game had gone. Stayed up long enough for a chat and then headed for bed.
