Mr Bean

Alan Bean, 4th man to walk on the moon, as seen in Pontefract this evening.

I really wanted to Blip the photo I had taken with him, but it is so unbelievably bad. I suggested to David I could crop it and he said the only way to rescue it would be to crop myself out. (He did add that I don't look as bad in real life as I always manage to make myself look in photos.)

Anyway, it was fabulous, he's a lovely, lovely man, very philosophical and humble. I had a lovely time and I have a signed print of one of his paintings to get framed.

Now for pizza and another dvd - Moulin Rouge last night so Angels and Demons tonight. Ewan McGregor in a frock.
