St Peter and St Paul's

Crosby, Liverpool.

We journeyed in rain. It stopped as we were graveside.
The Monsignor was quietly spoken, gentle with his words.
Nana and Grandad are together.
Something so final, but reassuring, about seeing their two separate caskets being placed side by side.
I don't know what I believe, but if there IS something beyond this, then I hope that we have done everything possible for them to be together.

We departed, we had a meal as family and we reminisced.

(There was a little excitement as family members realised that only a few metres away, Pat Phoenix/Booth is buried. "Elsie Tanner" in the same hallowed ground as Grandma. She would probably take a little moment to smile about that!)
