A quiet morning

On my travels getting chores done this morning I stopped off at this canal to see if there was any interesting activity going on. There wasn't, it was a quiet Monday morning with one lone fisherman who was taking ages to set up his rod and to settle himself in his chair.

Thankfully a quieter week this week. Half term from the end of this week and we are going for one week to see my mother in South Africa who is still frail. We had booked this trip almost a year ago before she got so ill, and we were planning on taking her away with us to the mountains for a few nights, but she is unable to travel or go to far from a hospital. It will be good for the family to see her as they last saw her two and a half years ago.
