Harvest produce

So far, we've made 4 bottles of rosehip syrup, 1/2 bottle of elderberry cordial, 1 jar of elderberry and crabapple juice (needs sweetening and reducing to a jelly), 1 jar of rowan and crabapple jelly, and 3 jars of wild plum jam. We're enjoying this hedgerow harvest thing :) Mum can't stop going out foraging!! I put this arrangement together while mum was out (yes, foraging) because I liked how the sun was shining through the coloured glass and syrups and jelly.

Been a busy day today. The boys have been treated to a TV day while I got prints printed (this picture included) and mounted ready for the Harvest Show at mum's church. This one was doodled on, with an Autumn themed word-cloud. I like it! I finished a painting as well, and have left it with mum to frame for me, also to be entered into the show. In between all the drawing and framing etc I've been packing slowly - slowly because Bear has been sick, and we don't know whether he's going to be well enough to travel this evening. We're planning a trip to Worthing to pick up some more bits, and also to visit friends, so I really hope he's well enough to travel! So far he's only been sick once, before breakfast, and he's kept all his meals down since so we may be ok.
