Up sharpish for a session clearing yet more Lady's Mantle from the garden. Nancy sanded and varnished window frames and an inspection of the coal bunker revealed a need for running repairs. Owen played with William from the village, and prepared his rod for some high tide fishing later.

Edit: Owen suddenly burst on the scene excitedly exclaiming that Calum had shot two stags. I'll save you the image, but it was very exciting stuff for a young vegetarian.
