Life's a beach!

Manta Rota

We broke with Weegie tradition and hired sun beds on the beach at Manta Rota today. It was 29 degrees and I needed the shade of a 5 euro umbrella to stop me screwing up my eyes to read.

A beautiful day. Even I had a dip in the water!

Headed to Mars Bar nearby for dinner. They make the best ever chicken satay kebabs and BBQ ribs. The table was groaning under the weight of it all...but we managed to polish it off.

We have just lit the candle in the Mateus Rose bottle to have a tipple on the balcony. It has developed a lovely collection of wax drips!
