Viva Espanha

Breakfast in Portugal, lunch in Spain.

Took a short drive to Villa Real de Santo Antonio where there is a 15 minute ferry to Ayamonte in Spain. Ferry runs every hour. But because of. The new bridge it's mostly usd by day trippers. It costs just under 7 euro (each way) for all 5 of us to travel.

The other side of the river is distinctly Spanish. I half expected it to be a mixture of both cultures, but it was all tiny Tapas bars, and elegant Spanish ladies and tall churches. A cracking we place that we will visit again.

Didn't light the candle tonight ...we were all too tired after our day out. Early to bed.

Rain due tomorrow.

Here's a blip on the wee ferry, this is the return journey from Spain. The bridge can be seen on the left of the boat and the Spanish mainland on the right.

P.s. Guess who didn't bring the battery charger for her big fancy camera! Grrrr. Numpty!
