To Knock up some Scaffolding

I am about to do a job on my house that will require working at a height.

I have my own scaffolding but I was in some doubt about the age of the planks.
Time for replacement so here you see Eric, the carpenter, cutting new scaffolding planks to size and making everything fit well.

I was surprised by the cost of this timber so the planks will be allowed to dry off properly and then given several coats of creosote to make them last as long as possible.
