To Learn about balance Bikes

Until about a week ago I am sad to say I knew nothing about balance bikes.

That is until I was out with my grandson Ffinlo (seen here) I saw a quite a young boy fearlessly riding his pedal cycle over and around the obstacles on the skateboard park in Ramsey.

His mother told me that he had learned his skill at a very early age on a balance bicycle. I could tell that the lad was a budding Cavendish.

So here we are today with Ffinlo also now on his balance bicycle. In spite of his age he already appears to me to be capable of riding a pedal cycle.

Mind you I still remember those two small wheels bolted to the back of my bike!
