Grey spotted amanita

Another nice grey spotted amanita. Lying down to photograph this one I was amazed - given the time of year - to see a young adder. It had probably been disturbed by the bracken flaying which has been done in this area. Moved off too quickly for me to get a photograph.

A new stained glass window is being installed in the church today, the first for about 40 years. I've been asked to photograph it for the official opening so hope to see it later today or at the weekend.
