Katie was up at 330, having fallen asleep literally under the kitchen table last night. So by 430, this masterpiece had appeared on her chalk board. She has a wonderful big playroom in our new house and is loving rediscovering all the things she has in it. Especially the chalk board.

Ballet this morning. She was beside herself with excitement about going back. She got herself a little overwhelmed when we got there, but within seconds of me handing her to the teacher she had forgotten it all and was, in the teachers words, absolutely full of it. They have said she can do her first rosette exam next week with her friends- it wasn't certain with her being away but all is well and they've said it's fine. She is very excited.

After ballet I took her to see monsters university at the cinema kids club. She was excited to discover they had "Australian" popcorn as well as the sweet stuff and chose it over the sweet. We did some shopping for her birthday- cake decorating things etc before we headed home on the train. Granny and Grandy called to say the were nearby so we met them for a coffee, a play at the park and some tea. She fell asleep in my arms at 545 again. This time the jetlag is a little harder to shake, it seems!
