As the sun went down.

A day of mixed emotions today.

The onset of autumn with darker mornings and evenings doesn't help.

A phone call from a parent at work took the remaining wind out of my sails for a while.

This is a wonderful student who was looking forward to getting back to their studies after a lay off they don't deserve. The phone call told me they had been rushed back into hospital.

They really don't deserve this.

This evening I've measured a road race around Stanley Park in Blackpool. I do like this park and I was taken with the peace and tranquility of the view across the lake as the sun was going down.
