SIMPLY CONKERS

At this time of year it is fun to see how many conkers can be found on the ground. Horse Chestnuts seem to be having a grand crop, as do the Sweet Chestnuts – grand to eat !

Conkers are cherished by the kids to play games – Health & Safety just go away ! – and by adults for their renowned reputation for keeping spiders at bay !
