had a most excellent day ...its friday and im not at work is item one on the excellent list.. item two was having breakfast with our resident celebrity and retired ice hockey pro steve moria ..or MO19 as hes better known, with us was Tommy...Steve looked shocked for the best part ,, its an expression most people wear when they meet tommy for the first time. Its not so much of a clash of cultures, its more a full assault on the concept of political correctness. I laughed ..im use to tommy..my dying dream would be for tommy to meet the queen and to be a fly on the wall see if Tommys built in morality filter would fail him..again..Not even the poor waitress could stop herself going bright red. Ive got my yearly safety check drive with tommy soon... god help me..
From there a lovely lunch with my beautiful gypsy girl ...basing bakery..yummy..
From there out to basing to visit Doug,, alis dad.. who was sparko at the dinner table..mind you all the residents nod off after lunch..there most be something in the air cos i sat there nodding as well...must admit to being nervous this close to a bit of coffin dodging and zimmer racing... can almost feel the precence of the grim reaper`s icey kiss on the lounge... shudders...
