A Trio of Fungi

A lovely sunny day today, which is always a bonus at this time of year, so we went for a walk in the Den of Alyth, a wooded area near us with a little burn (stream) running through it. The trees are mainly birch and beech and the colours are gorgeous, although a lot of the leaves had already fallen. This makes a lovely golden pathway to walk on:-)

I took loads of pictures of trees and leaves, but there are also several clumps of unusual fungi on the dead wood. Some of you may remember this one from the same time last year. They were there again this year, but looking a bit jaded now, so I decided to blip this trio of fungi, which is different again.
