London to Brighton Veteran Car Run

Jane and Irene left just after breakfast and Alan and I went into Brighton to see the finish of the London to Brighton Veteran car run. The finish line was on Madeira Drive and there were about 400 cars dating back to the late 1800's. I got a little carried away and took over 170 photos, so it took a while choosing which one to blip, but I like this scene at the finish line. If you take a closer look you can see the cars in more detail.

We saw the famous car Genevieve which was in the 1953 film about the London to Brighton run, and we also saw Nick Mason the drummer from Pink Floyd. It was nice to see so many cars, and fortunately the weather was nice, even if it was a bit windy!

Anyway, it's time to prepare the Sunday roast, and catch up with a few jobs - hope you're having a good Sunday.
