The Captain

Our town King's Lynn was once the third biggest port in the country and Captain George Vancouver was born here. He charted the US west coast and this is a statue of him with the old Customs House behind and various chains and anchors lying in between.

The weather was rather combative and I had to shelter during a downpour, happily it passed over and presented me with this lighting and the two rainbows.
