Fresh air and sun!

It's at this time of year I start to crave fresh air - I miss being able to potter about in the garden after work, leave the kitchen door open while I cook and sit out with a book. Once my hubby was up at lunchtime after his night shift we decided to get out for a couple of hours and drove to Newmillerdam, just the other side of town. We took a different route to our normal walk and ended up high above the lake.

All too soon it was time to come home and start the Sunday night routine (for me anyway, Lottie is off tomorrow for a teacher training day).

It's been lovely to have a relaxed weekend although I can't help but feel guilty for not tackling the many jobs that need doing round here!
