Piazza San Pietro

Over the Tiber to the Vatican. A bit of a queue to get into St Pietro but worth it especially as you can climb up to the top of the domes 520 steps or take a elevator half way for extra 2 euros which we did. Very narrow and lopsided at the top. More great views over the Vatican and gardens. Down to the river past the Castel. S Angelo. for a quick refreshment.Then over to the Colosseum which was a lot bigger inside than had imagined. Out for tea at The Pantion . Another full fun day.
