Red Alert!

Reminiscent of my day today! "Russian" around and doubling up in anticipation of the annual KHDA Inspection in school at the end of the month. Somewhat similar to Ofsted but not quite that sophisticated just yet, which makes for higher stress levels amongst staff who are left wondering what the inspection will focus on this time round!!!!

Also getting ready to hand back my responsibilities to Farah when she returns from maternity leave at the start of next week. A Professional Development day is taking place on Thursday so Wednesday is effectively my last day supply teaching. Enjoyed it immensely and look forward to the next phone call requesting cover!

Tomorrow...its caution to the wind and some lighthearted competitive ESL games to round off all we've been doing over the past three weeks. Based on the theme of Formula 1, which has just taken place in Abu Dhabi, am sure the competition will be furious as the teams engage in hot pursuit for pride of place on the podium!!. They already have their highly customised, cardboard cutout racers prepared!!

For now....its weary I am and bed is not far off.
