Bubbly night!

From dawn to dusk then onward into the wee small hours!!! That was the measure of my Wednesday. It wouldn't have been too daunting had I not been asked to attend the Professional Development in school.....which meant another early start to Thursday!

However...this special evening had been planned moons before by Gk to enable an 'inner circle' to meet up and enjoy a night of each others company in the ambient atmosphere of the Kempinski Hotel. It was carefully planned It just happened to be Ladies night....2 glasses of champagne on the house for those present.

GK drove to the venue and yours truly was let loose with the treasured camera and new lens!!!! Loved this shot from a speeding moving car...specially with the lamp light splayed out in all directions!

I curtailed my indulgence so I could be 'homeward bound chauffer' and after several hours of 'catch up chat' finally made it into Karama and straight to bed before the volvo turned into a pumpkin!
