Across the River

A strong south-easterly wind sprang up while out on my dog walk this morning. We are meant to be getting some rain over the next day or so. This is bad timing as the annual A & P Show is on this Friday and Saturday. Ambling Camera and I are going to be at the Showgrounds tomorrow afternoon doing our bit for aspiring photographers. We will be judging the work submitted for the Photography Competition. We made a great team last year with me doing the actual judging (AC had her say too, just quietly) whilst AC typed up the comments on her laptop as we went through the process. So together we got through the judging in no time at all. It was great fun and we spotted some amazing talent amid the entries.
Today’s image looks croos the river and over Turnbull’s Vineyard to the Wither hills Farm Park in the distance. The south easterly is just starting to blow clouds across the top of “The Pines” in the far distance.
