After The Deed Was Done

I'm always a bit "late"...and this morning was no exception. Bob was yelling, "you have to see the two herons going at it on the green!" I grabbed my camera, opened the door, shot out in my bare feet, and all I got was the poor female?/Male? trying to smooth her/his feathers, and get in the pond for a sip of water to cool down. Bob said it was quite the display (yah, yah, yah), but I didn't get "the shot"! Oh well, you will just have to use your imagination on this one:)))))
