Blip-o-rama

As Mr. T used to say..."Sometimes the bear Blip eats you...and sometimes you eat the bear Blip. In other words...sometimes you get nothing...while other days...you get a plethora of shots.

My sister and neighbor wanted some osage oranges like I picked up the other day. They claim that you can put them in your basement, and they will keep spiders away. HA! I picked one up, and there was a daddy long-legs on it. I got pictures to prove it. I think I will blip them in the next few days...as they are very colorful.

I went to deliver the oranges to my sister, so I stuck my nose into her barn to see the goats. Rusty, the male, was in with his ladies. He is usually confined to his own pen. But...it's THAT time of year. Breeding season. In the one picture...I don't know if Pearl, Hazel, Opal, and Aggie are posing for me, OR posing for Rusty. Just saying.

I don't believe in re-incarnation...but if I did...I'd want to come back as a stud...especially in a domestic setting. Wild animals like elk, wolves, lions, and bears always have to fight to maintain their dominance, but what does Rusty the goat have to do? He just waits for his owner to open the gate...and say..."Have at it Rusty. Enjoy yourself." Goat, bull, rooster, horse, dog, or hamster...what a life.

On my way home...I stopped to get the horse and the donkey. The backdrop of the picture is the coat of another horse. It was spotted...like a huge dalmation.

Had my first hot cocoa of the season this morning. It's still only 44F (7C.)
