Fireworks

There was quite a while that I'd given up on fireworks. I'd actually got bored of them growing up, and they all started to feel more or less the same. It was Gordon who switched me back on to enjoying their spectacle after we moved in with each other two years ago, and this year in Blackheath was just as much fun. Despite the age of austerity Lewisham Council still managed to do themselves proud and pulled off a great display, and kept it donations only too. These times really can do with more spectacle, I think.
