This is, The Farmers Arms Malt House.
Built c 1830by the farmer, John Jones, " Sion y Ballas". Here beer was brewed for use in the public house with water from a well on Mynydd Bach common, land on which Nebo Chapel was built, belonged to John Jones and he is commemorated in the name of the road opposite ( Heol Sion ) which is on the hillside above Fynnon Sion ( John's Well )
Cefn Cribwr is situated about 5 miles from the centre of Bridgend and has a population of 1,546.
