Hi Tom
It was a beautiful bright day today. Perfect for remembrance Sunday. We went into town and saw lots of people wearing their medals with pride. One elderly gentleman walked past laden with medals....I'm sure he could have told a story. Then there were the younger generation walking around in their uniforms wearing their poppies with pride. A day for our heroes past, present and future. God bless them all.
It also saddened me today to hear of the many lives lost in the Philippines. I hope the devastation that's been caused gets sorted out quickly.
Chelmsford is getting more Christmassy by the minute. You will notice a bit of a change when you get back as there are a few new stores opened up since you were here and a few which have closed down as well.
Dad and I had breakfast in town. It was lovely...smoked salmon on scrambled eggs. My favourite breakfast.
We had to go to the garden centre to get some logs for the log burner. That's where I saw this little display of rabbits. I thought they were cute. I loved the way they were displayed with the little robins in the mix. The garden centre already has it's Christmas display up and all the lights and decorations up. I think it's early but I guess it will be on top of us before we know it.
I hope you have been able to read your return flight details. You are 100% getting into Heathrow on Saturday 14th December at 12.00 midday. You must print your details off the email I have sent. X
