Colours of the Tweed

I awoke to a sunny day with blue sky and the ground white with frost. The birds were busy in the tree tops feeding on insects and calling to one another. All was still. A perfect day for a walk and some photography.

I took several photos but I particularly liked this one of the River Tweed looking towards Peebles. It is from a similar view point to one I took in early December 2012, also on a frosty day but one much colder than today!

Having been doing Blip for nearly a year now I am enjoying having the opportunity to document and compare particular scenes or subjects in differing circumstances, seeing how they change in time.
