White tail deer

Another beautiful day in Ohio, and the roofers finished their work on our roof that I wrote about yesterday. It's a relief to have it done, I can tell you. Next job: replacing the windows in our dining room and kitchen. That should be happening soon.

This afternoon Bob and I took Gulliver for a walk in the park, and we saw some deer. At this time of year, they keep their distance, but in a few months, when the snow and cold return, the deer will come closer and closer, looking for a handout. The doe pictured here stood calmly until I was too close for comfort. At that point she took off and showed me her white tail.
