Pizza Picnic

For lunch on Saturday, I met with some friends that I don't get to see much due to conflicting schedules. We went up into the mountains to a pizza cafe. I'd been there a few times, but I somehow missed that there is outdoor seating, and not just chairs and tables. The tables are big rocks and the seats home made benches. It was really cool to eat lunch on a big stone. It was a bit chilly, but worth it.

The "pizza" was good. The quotes are there because it's hard for me to consider a lot of Japanese pizza, pizza. It's good as long as I remember not to expect American style. It's pretty much a different food. Today we shared four little pizzas: Made-in-Omura sausage pizza with pesto sauce, salad pizza- literally a salad on top of crust, margarita pizza and a dessert apple pizza, which also had sweet potato and blueberries.
