Shivgiri Session

Last year about this time, I went to an acoustic show at this little club in Omura and met the performer, who also happened to be a rafting guide. My friend kept in touch with him and that's how I started rafting. He came back for another show this weekend, it was nice to see him again.

He's a really interesting guy. He was once a junior high school English teacher but is now a dreadlocked, Hindi, easy-going, life-loving, guitar playing, rafting guide. He's traveled a lot and is soon heading out on his next adventure- a year-long working holiday in New Zealand. Sounds fun!
