Early Light Over the Pines
I was up with the birds again this morning. (I had better be careful that this doesn't get to be a habit.) Off walking with the dogs well before 6.am the world was my own once I had exchanged greeting with another early dog-walker. The sky was lot more interesting today. The silhouettes of last year’s fennel made for a nice contrast with the distant Wither Hills Farm Park. The pines on the horizon are a poplar landmark and I have photographed them many times over the years from many different viewpoints and in all weathers.
Camera Club tonight and it is our last full meeting for this calendar year. I have been very busy getting stuff organised for a busy evening. The downside of being president is that I am kept so busy …. Too busy to put much time into my own personal photography. But the positive side is that we have an exciting, busy vibrant club with many interesting folk among the membership. We learn so much from each other and have a lot of fun as well.
