Life through the lens...

By ValC

Almost the end.

No collage today.
Decided for once I should make my mind up, and so this is the last photo I took today, with the sun just going down, and shining on the clock of Blickling Hall.

Gorgeous sunshine again, but what a cold wind!
Still you can wrap up warm, and off we went.

First a walk along the marshes from Stiffkey towards Wells-Next-the-Sea.
The sun at the back of us, and so we could just see the waves breaking on the beach in the distance.
Lots of seals on Blakeney point. (very far away)
Geese, little egrets ,curlews , and redshanks were just some of the birds we saw.

Then on to Morston Quay, and a stop for coffee and cake.
Followed by a quick stop at Blakeney to buy a crab fridge magnet, and apron.

Then to Aylsham for more sausages and bacon.
Also purchased a shirt ,walking socks, and hat for MrC.
Then I had a look in a dress shop window, and spotted some lovely winter boots with a fur lining. Price £20!
Needless to say had to go and try them on. Still don't know why they were so cheap, but I bought a pair!
Just happened to see a coat which I thought looked nice. MrC said it looked very good on me, and persuaded me to buy it!

So that was an expensive sausage!

Lastly stopped off at Blickling Hall.
The Hall isn't open at this time of year, but we had a walk round the grounds, and took a few photos just as the sun was going down.

Now enjoying a nice cupa before I start tea, and then will have to pack up.
Unfortunately back home tomorrow!
