Almond, Cream Cheese, and Caramel Swirls
So, according to Mike, I'm a cookie hater. Beside that, these cookies were such a pain to make. Make sure you have PLENTY of time if you decide to do these. Without further ado, here are the scores:

These cookies were definitely supposed to be round. Just a side note. Other than their oblong shape, they had a nice texture and the filling was really good. I suggest these cookies if you have a lot of time and really like caramel. Overall, they were yummy!
Our Advice: We had a lot of trouble finding the almond meal that the recipe called for, so we just made our own in the food processor. So our advice would be to not sweat if you cannot find that. Also, a second piece of advice would be to shape and constrict the rolls if you can before you chill them extensively so they will actually stay round.
