Why own a chihuahua?

They love their people oh, how true, and all those silly things us humans do!
But as much as they love us, they like their own, to keep them company when we're not home.

Pity the chihuahua who's all alone! For he may have people that all of his own, but who'll wash my ears? I hear him say, and wash my eyes? Lick my tears away?

Little cousins who tumble and play and run,
When the humans come home the race begins,
The first one to kiss all the noses wins!

No one tries to steal his bone,
No wrestling, hide n seek, or tag, or tug of war with a tattered old rag
