The elite cyclists!

We cycled out from the coast and headed into the mountains and Topes de Collantes National Park - stopping on the way for a good strong cup of coffee. Coffee was growing all the way up the hillside.
The very keen/good cyclists among us and Steve was one of them did a very steep climb which is part of the Tour of Cuba. The more faint hearted of us rode uphill in the bus!!
The National park was stunning. Brightly coloured flowers peek through dense green undergrowth, Bananas grow freely and you can hear birds everywhere.
Lousy wet weather but it was a rain forest! But it was warm.
